Pro jaké účely je tento druh tarpu vhodný? No, v českém konzervativním prostředí asi pro…žádné. Pokud se podívám, co lidé používají na vandrech i na dlouhých pochodech, jsou to dva extrémy. Buď v podstatě Baumax plachta, případně celta, přístřešek z ponča či další jednoduché věci a nebo obrněný stan s parametry, které se hodí na zimní výpravu na Špicberky. A mezitím nestojí nic. Bohužel, pyramidový tarp je tak někde mezi a od každého kousek. Univerzál, který v ničem vysloveně nevyniká, ale ani nepropadá.
Nepíšu recenze příliš často, ale tentokrát udělám výjimku, protože se jedná o tarp, který v ČR doposavad pravděpodobně nikdo nemá. A tím pádem o velice nepopulární věc, kterou zde nemá nikdo rád. Což je super a je to i jeden z důvodů proč jsem si jí objednal. Takže se podrobně podíváme na to, co všechno by se vám na něm mohlo nelíbit.
Locus Gear je malá japonská firma, která se už přes deset let specializuje na výrobu ultralight stanů a tarpů. A to jak geodetického typu, tak pyramid i otevřených přístřešků. Používají moderní materiály, konkrétně pak silnylon a především hit posledních let – Dyneema Composite Fiber (DCF). Veškeré jejich zboží je vyráběno přímo v Japonsku, u nich v dílně. Takže to není firma z levnýho kraje, která by vám vyrobila celtu za pětikilo. Ale pěkně popořádku.

Stavba
Já si pro svoje účely vybral jejich pyramidový tarp s názvem Khafra. Materiál 30D ripstop silnylon, barva Bronze Mist, která dobře zapadne do lesní i otevřené krajiny. Vybrat si ještě můžete z klasické zelené a kdo by chtěl zářit do dáli může zvolit zlatožlutou.
Jak vidíte na fotkách, jde o tarp klasické pyramidové konstrukce, která v poslední době zažívá renesanci hlavně u fandů lehkého vybavení po celém světě. Khafra Sil má rozměry půdorysu 280 cm x 280 cm a výšku 170 cm. Stavba tohoto přístřešku je velice jednoduchá a na pár pokusů jí rychle zvládne každý i po pár pivech. Pyramida není dvouplášťová, lze pouze dokoupit vnitřní stan ze síťované moskytiéry v několika velikostech, zmíním se o něm níže. Osobně ho nemám a v oblastech, kde nejsou záplavy komárů, ho považuji za zbytečný. Díky absenci vnitřního stanu vám do něj při stavbě nemůže napršet. Logicky – nemůže vám napršet do něčeho, co nemáte. Tudíž i stavba v dešti probíhá v pohodě, beze spěchu, ale přitom velice rychle.
Khafra samozřejmě není samonosná, stejně jako není samonosný žádný pyramidový stan. Vyberete tedy vhodné místo, kam se vám tenhle drobeček vejde, rozložíte čtverec, zakolíkujete ve čtyřech rozích, rozepnete vchod a celou stavbu vztyčíte na jediné tyči. U vrcholu se nachází dobře řešené vyztužení materiálu, které vám práci ještě víc usnadní. Můžete použít skládací tyč od Locus Gear nebo od jiné firmy, ale já silně doporučuji druhou možnost – spojení dvou trekových holí pomocí konektoru. Sám mám konektor od Locus Gear, ale jsou i jiné možnosti, například zde. Princip je jednoduchý – odpojíte spodní části svých trekových holí a místo nich vložíte konektor. Tím vznikne jedna dlouhá tyč, kterou pak snadno nastavíte na požadovanou délku. Jenom si musíte koupit konektor o správném průměru a taky vhodný na vaše hole – podle toho zda máte flip lock a nebo klasické, šroubovací, utahování. Vše je vysvětleno v odkazech, které jsem uvedl výše. Locus Gear konektor na klasické šroubovací hole nevyrábí. Některé konkurenční firmy pak používají namísto této spojnice dva řemínky na svázání holí dohromady. To mi přijde jako trochu krkolomné řešení.
Používání trekových holí namísto tyče výrazně snižuje celkovou hmotnost a znamená další využití pro vaše hole. Pokud trekové hole nepoužíváte, asi bych zvážil zda má význam o tarpu tohoto typu uvažovat, protože v tom případě přicházíte o jednu z největších výhod – hmotnostní úsporu – ve srovnání se stany, které ke své stavbě potřebují samostatné pruty.
Po základním vztyčení pyramidy dokolíkujete podlážku na dalších čtyřech místech a máte skoro vystaráno. Pokud jste ale příznivci vypínání všeho na maximum, mám pro vás dobrou zprávu, protože Khafra disponuje na stěnách dalšími osmi úchyty na které můžete přivázat lanka a vše zakolíkovat. Jsem toho názoru, že v běžných podmínkách stačí využít dva úchyty po stranách a jeden v zadu pro zvětšení obytného prostoru – silnylon se totiž prověšuje. Jestliže čekáte orkán, můžete samozřejmě dovypnout vše. Locus Gear dodává ve standardním balení čtyři dvoumetrové a čtyři třímetrové šňůry z DCF. Ultralehké a ultrapevné. Kolíky si musíte dokoupit zvlášť. Ještě bych chtěl upozornit, že oka půdorysu jsou sice prakticky řešena s použitím tzv. LineLoc, a celá stavba se tak dá snadno dovypnout, ale samotná oka mají malý průměr a nevejdou se do nich klasické sněhové kolíky. Pro táboření na hlubokém sněhu je pak nutné použít něco takového. Tedy jehlový kolík do hlubokého sněhu o délce 62 cm.
Dalšími vychytávkami je pak dvoucestný zip, kterým se dá zlepšit odvětrávání a samozřejmě možnost otevřít obě křídla vchodu a uchytit je po stranách. Jako další ochrana proti kondenzaci slouží potom dvojí odvětrávání u vrcholu pyramidy, kryté stříškou. Je v něm vložen lehký drát a je to velice praktická a účinná věc. Na druhou stranu se na ní musí dávat trochu pozor při balení a někomu může připadat zbytečná, protože to co neexistuje, se nemůže pokazit. Já jsem za ní ale rád.
Khafra má jeden vchod připomínající dvoukřídlé dveře. Lze tedy celou jednu stranu kompletně otevřít. Bez ohledu na počet nocujících lidí tak nikdy nedochází k překračování ostatních.
Locus Gear pamatuje i na lidi, kteří vyžadují komfort ochrany proti hmyzu. Takže je možné si dokoupit vnitřní stan s podlážkou a moskytiérou. Dělá se více rozměrů a z různých materiálů a hmotností. Jak je dnes u mnoha stanů zvykem, můžete si tento vnitřní stan chránit ještě pomocí footprint. A nebo použít footprint samostatně. Já nic z toho nepoužívám. Ochranu proti hmyzu řeším zakolíkováním až k zemi i za cenu kondenzace, protože se to nestává až tak často. A místo podlážky beru tyvek nebo klasickou stavební plachtu. Ale když by člověk razil v létě do Laponska, bez moskytiéry bych to neriskoval.
Na youtube bohužel není příliš nahrávek konkrétně tohoto stanu, ale našel jsem aspoň jedno se stavbou Khafra staršího typu ve větrných podmínkách. Na videu je použita karbonová tyč místo spojených trekových holí.
To by byl tedy základní stručný popis. A teď se na to podíváme detailně.
Velikost a prostor
Celková váha Khafry sil je 750 gramů včetně obalu. Čistě bez kolíků a lanek. Zde bych chtěl ještě pochválit výrobce, že obal je dostatečně prostorný a tarp se do něj bez problémů snadno složí za jakýchkoli podmínek. Velikost tarpu ve sbaleném stavu je cca. 20 cm x 45 cm (dle velikosti samotného obalu, reálně tedy o něco menší).
Výrobce uvádí počet osob 2 – 4. Proti tomuto rozmezí nebudu nic namítat. Odpovídá. Pro dva je to palác, pro čtyři už poněkud těsné. Optimální počet osob budou tři lidé, případně 2 lidé a pes nebo dva lidé a dva psi. U posuzování velikosti musíme brát v potaz jednu nejdůležitější nevýhodu pyramidové stavby – a sice svažování stěn, které hodně ubírá na celkovém vnitřním prostoru navzdory celkové výšce a rozměrům půdorysu. Svažování stěn je i problémem pro lidi vyšší postavy. Sám měřím 176 cm a je to ideální. Pro lidi nad 190 cm bych se ale zase asi podíval po jiném typu stavby. Zkrátka čím jste vyšší, tím víc vám bude pyramida těsnější a tím víc vám budou sbíhavé stěny vadit. Při zimním táboření je pak potřeba počítat s tím, že člověk potřebuje trochu víc místa. U této výšky stavby není celková délka člověka až takový problém, protože výška stanu je dostatečná. Ale u malých tarpů stojících pouze na jedné trekové holi budou mít dlouháni opravdu problém.
Pyramidové tarpy větších rozměrů občas používají i cykloturisti, kteří se úzkostlivě starají o své kolo. Ano – do Khafry se vejde i horské, trekové nebo silniční kolo klasických rozměrů a nebude vám tak na něj pršet, sněžit, mrholit a neohrozí ho ani ranní rosa. Jen zabere polovinu tarpu. Osobně mi to přijde trochu jako přehnaná starost a luxus, sám nechávám kolo na cyklovandrech venku, nanejvýš ho přikryji plachtou.
Další věc je pak skutečnost, že silynlon se, zvláště při vysoké vlhkosti vzduchu nebo při dešti, prověšuje a proto je žádoucí ho dovypnout, aby na vás stěny ráno nepadaly. DCF se naproti tomu neprověšuje a nabízí tak jakoby trochu více místa. Proto Locus Gear vyrábí tuto pyramidu z materiálu DCF o rozměrech půdorysu 268 cm x 268 cm – bere na zřetel stálost DCF i ve vlhkých podmínkách.
Kdo by chtěl ještě více prostoru, nabízí se Khafra Sil Grande s rozměry 300 cm x 300 cm a výškou 180 cm. To už je opravdu pro čtyři lidi, ale výška je poměrně přehnaná.
Sám jsem chtěl původně brát menší pyramidu a jsem velice rád, že jsem vzal tuhle. Na to by měl u výběru pamatovat každý. Rozměry půdorysu není možné srovnávat s klasickým geodetickým stanem, svažování stěn ubere reálnému prostoru víc než se na první pohled zdá. Je to ale i otázka preferencí, někdo se bude raději hodně tísnit výměnou za menší hmotnost.
Materiál
30D ripstop silnylon je lehká tkanina se solidní pružností a odolností proti vodě, pevná v tahu. Vodní sloupec je 3000 mm. Na trhu je i silynlon 20D a 15D – tedy ještě tenčí varianty. I samotná verze 30D se dělá v různých gramážích, zde je však už ten rozdíl zanedbatelný. Většinou se na stany a tarpy doporučuje 30D ripstop, protože u nižších verzí silnylonu by ripstop vlastnost byla tak možná napsaná v manuálu, ale nefungovala v reálu. Dalšími technickými specifikami vás nepotěším – nejsem fyzik a na přesná čísla si nepotrpím. Určitě si je ale můžete s trochou (spíše s trochou více) snahy dohledat na netu. Já se zaměřím hlavně na obecné vlastnosti a praktické užití.
U silnylonu se při výrobě stanu standardně nezatírají švy. Locus Gear v tomhle není výjimkou a tak to musí udělat zákazník sám. V USA, Japonsku i jiných zemích to lidé považují za standard. Češi, jakožto národ kutilů co si sami vyrobí i nemožné, se tomu paradoxně diví…
Zátěr se provádí tmelem s názvem SilNet. Koupit se dá i v ČR, kupříkladu v prodejně nalehko.com, ale i jinde. Na youtube jsou k vidění i videa lidí, kteří si k tomuto účelu míchají směs na zatření. To je taky možnost, ale já použil originální SilNet, což je nejjednodušší – otevřete tubu, nanesete na štětec a můžete rovnou zatírat. Zátěr se provádí na postaveném tarpu a postupně zatíráte veškeré švy rovnoměrnou vrstvou SilNetu. Na youtube opět najdete instruktážní videa. Je to tedy pěkná piplačka, zvláště pak u tarpu této velikosti a celkově jsem spotřeboval dvě tuby. Myslím ale, že to bylo způsobeno mou nezkušeností a tak jsem to s množstvím SilNetu poněkud přehnal. Po zatření se doporučuje nechat tarp minimálně 24 hodin doschnout. Nikoho by to však nemělo odradit od případné koupi, děláte to jenom jednou (i když někdo doporučuje tento proces ještě po pár měsících používání zopakovat) a odměnou vám je pyramida velice dobrých vlastností. Ještě bych dodal, že zatření švů o něco zvýší celkovou hmotnost.
Samotná kvalita výrobku, šití, švů, provedení, je na nejvyšší úrovni a musím férově přiznat, že značka Made In Japan nevisí na mém tarpu jen tak pro nic za nic. Jo, je to trochu rozdíl oproti Made In China, Vietnam, Bangladesh…. Najděte deset rozdílů. Ale je možný, že pracovníci Locus Gear berou víc jak dolar na den a jsou starší osmi let. Těžko říct.
Silnylon vs. DCF
Při porovnání zmíním i výhody a nevýhody silnylonu.
Nicméně píšu tento odstavec s tím, že jsem žádný DCF tarp neviděl nikdy naživo – pouze na videu a vycházím dále z názorů lidí na různých outdoorových fórech. Je to spíše průřez, a výtah, ze sebraných reakcí na mnoha webech.
DCF – Dyneema Composite Fiber alias Cuben Fiber má oproti silnylonu dvě zásadní výhody – nižší hmotnost a větší odolnost v tahu. Z DCF se původně měly dělat lodní plachty, nakonec se ho chytli outdoorové firmy. Abych tedy přeci jen zkopíroval některé jeho parametry – je o 50 – 70 % lehčí než kevlar, čtyřikrát pevnější než kevlar, dvakrát lehčí než silnylon. Zjednodušeně – lehký a mimořádně silný. Navíc se neprověšuje, takže pokud tarp z DCF správně postavíte, nemusíte ho už dovypínat a stěny se na vás nezačnou svažovat. Žádné zatírání švů se také nekoná, vše je hotovo z výroby. Stejně jako silnylon se používá v několika mírně rozdílných gramáží (obvykle ji každý výrobce uvádí na svém webu).
DCF v porovnání se silnylonem nezachycuje vodu, takže i když v noci pršelo, látku snadno oklepete a nebude tolik vlhká. Naproti tomu silnylon drží vlhkost docela dost a někdy má člověk chuť ho přímo vyždímat, což samozřejmě udělat nemůže. Je to ale hodně pocitová záležitost. Ve výsledku, co je mokré je prostě mokré a musí uschnout. Jen DCF uschne o něco rychleji. Ale vysušit tarp, a batoh, budete muset stejně.
DCF se také velice snadno opravuje – případná díra se přelepí páskou připomínající izolepu a máte vystaráno. Naproti tomu u silnylonu musíte použít SilNet a kusem náhradní látky (Locus Gear jí dává spolu s tarpem) překrýt postižené místo a nechat x hodin zaschnout.
Má tedy DCF nějaké nevýhody? Inu – cena, která je na dvojnásobku ceny silnylonu. No a něco dalšího by se taky našlo, už jenom proto, že nic jako nejlepší materiál neexistuje. Budu tedy opět vycházet ze sběru informací hlavně na amerických webech.
Některá kritika DCF vychází ze zkušeností ze zimního táboření, kdy si lidé stěžují, že ultratenkému materiálu nedělá dobře střídání teplot nad nulou a pod nulou a dochází k tvorbě prasklin. Nepříjemnou vlastností cubenu je také to, že na něm ulpívá sníh, což zrovna neprospívá jeho životnosti. Silnylon naproti tomu je sám o sobě kluzký jako had – to člověku pije krev při balení. Ale když ráno vstanete a na tarpu máte při skládání hromadu sněhu a úlomků ledu, stačí jenom dvakrát máchnout a na látce se nic neudrží. Skvělé na odolnost nejen proti sněhu, ale i na jakýkoli jiný bordel, jako úlomky větviček apod.
Další diskutovanou věcí je pak ultrapevnost DCF, která se sice jeví na první pohled jako výhoda, ale nemusí tomu tak být vždy. V hodně větrných podmínkách může docházet k velkému tlaku na stěny stavby a ten se může přenášet na centrální tyč i na kotvící kolíky. A něco z toho by nemuselo vydržet. Naproti tomu silnylon, který pruží, až bych řekl péruje, může být v extrémních podmínkách výhodou. Stejně tak může být výhodou mít klasické hliníkové hole i hliníkový konektor, protože carbon je mnohem náchylnější na zlomení. Více o této problematice na zajímavém blogu Over The Hills. Upřímně si ale myslím, že se jedná o extrémní situace do kterých se většina z nás nikdy nedostane a pokud ano, je lepší do nich vzít skutečný expediční stan.
Zůstává tak nejpodstatnější věc, a sice vlastnost, která je v angličtině označována termínem abrasion – odolnost proti oděru. Čistá mechanická odolnost proti oděru je dle většiny názorů stále na straně silnylonu. Sice u tarpů není tak důležitá jako u jiných výrobků, ale roli hrát může. Problémem dnešního marketingu je to, že vám nikdo na rovinu neřekne, jak dlouho mu určitá věc vydrží. Vidíme lidi, kteří používají ultralight vybavení a vychvalují ho do nebe, ale málokdy nám dají info za jak dlouho dobu a při jak intenzivním používání hodili ten super lehký stan do koše nebo kdy se jim roztrhalo 150 gramů vážící pončo. Ale kupříkladu batohy z čistého DCF kritizuje na svém blogu (a ani nepoužívá) například Andrew Skurka. A ten si na ultralight jinak hodně potrpí. Nicméně tarpy z DCF naopak doporučuje. Je to logické – tarp se celý den netře o záda, není odkládán při pauzách na zem a nemůže se prodřít při opření o strom, protože tyhle věci se s tarpem nedělají. I tak je ale diskutabilní co by s DCF provedlo používání v českých lesích, na brdském jehličí, v beskydském pralese a dalších lokalitách.
Osobně si myslím, že tarpy z DCF jsou lepší. Už jenom díky své hmotnosti. Nakonec jsem se ale rozhodl pro silnylon. Nerad často měním vybavení. A i když vím, že i životnost silnylonu je omezená, a nebude to držák jako třebas stan od Jurka, čekám, že mi vydrží o něco déle než by mi vydrželo DCF. Otázka peněz, kdy jak jsem zmínil je DCF na dvojnásobku ceny silnylonu, nehraje až takovou roli, ale příliš častá obměna věcí mi přijde poněkud…úchylná.
Ale čas ukáže. A kdo ví, třebas můj sólo přístřešek bude z DCF.
Odolnost
Názory na mechanickou odolnost jsem probral ve stati o cubenu, takže zde jen náhled na odolnost vůči počasí. Tarp zatím absolvoval zimní táboření v našich horách a nepromokavost dle očekávání stoprocentní. Mix mokrého sněhu s deštěm a zavalení části pyramidy též bez problémů.
Oceňuji větrání vrchem i dvoucestný zip, který pomáhá proti kondenzaci v případě, že se pyramida postaví až těsně k zemi. V normálních podmínkách je ale nejlepší postavit ji několik centimetrů nad zem a tím vyřešit kondenzaci úplně.
Odolnost proti větru vyzkoušena nebyla, ale počítám, že k tomu dojde. Je ale nereálné očekávat vlastnosti expedičního Hillebergu či Jurka. Na zimní přechod Grónska bych asi volil něco jiného. Ale silný vítr na normálních horách by neměl představovat žádnou hrozbu. Když se podívám na některé stany typu MSR či Big Agnes a jejich rozvětvené pruty, nebudí to ve mně velkou důvěru. Naproti tomu jedna pevná tyč zakolíkovaná osmi kolíky v půdorysu a držená osmi lanky po obvodu – to už něco vydrží. Záležet pak bude hlavně na samotném materiálu. Pyramida sama o sobě má tu výhodu, že ve své horní části nenabízí větru skoro žádné plochy do kterých by se mohl opřít. Je ovšem dobré dodat, že výhodou je mít malou pyramidu. Nižší a užší. Velikost Khafry mi přijde na hraně. Další problém je spojení dvou trekových holí, které nutně způsobuje oslabení takto složené vzpěry. Řešením může být koupit samostatnou skládací-zasunovací tyč, ale to zase navýší výrazně hmotnost.
Pyramidové tarpy vnímám ideální ve velikosti pro dva, ideálně pro jednoho. Kupříkladu Locus Gear Khufu, nízký, úzký, stavěný na jediné trekové holi. Zde si myslím, že už odolnost vůči větru bude na nejvyšší úrovni v rámci ultralight tarpů.
Využití

Vemte si ale, že je listopad a vy jedete na hory. Jizerky, Šumava, Beskydy, Karpaty a nebo se někdy na podzim chcete potulovat po Pyrenejích či Skandinávii. Půlka lidi zvolí celtu. To je určitě super. A dá se s ní hrát, stavět jí mezi stromy, podepřít na klacky a fotit do trampskýho alba s usárnou. Super věc to ale přestane být v momentě, kdy si chcete ustlat někde pod hřebenem, stromy došly, zato přišel vítr a déšť se sněhem a vaše hlava i nohy jsou pod pěknou sprškou. No nevadí. Vzali jste si s sebou přeci žďárák. Takže to máme 500 gramů celta za 1500 Kč a 500 gramů žďárák za 4000 Kč. Kolíky, podlážka… no hmotnostně na tom moc dobře ve srovnání s Khafrou nejsme. Tak nějak nastejno. Akorát, že vaše celta a žďárák jsou pro jednoho a do pyramidy byste se vešli ve třech. A nemuseli platit za žďáráky. A taky se mohli ráno třeba i posadit a nemít všude kolem sebe mokro.
Zamítá se. Chápu. Vyřešíte to jinak – vytáhnete zpod postele stan pro expedici do Himalájí. Protože přeci potřebujete nutně podlážku a dvojitou stěnu (zvláštní, že pod celtou vám nic z toho nechybělo). Hlavní je mít geodet a komfort. Ten komfort vás přijde tak na 6 litrů v levným provedení, ale taky třebas na 12 nebo mnohem na víc. No a na zádech toho budou tak tři kila.
Khafra stojí někde na pomezí mezi těmito dvěma extrémy. Tedy vlastně přímo uprostřed. Ve verzi ze silnylonu váží po zatření něco okolo 800 gramů. Plus kolíky a lanka a máme to 1 kg, podlážka bude vážit podle počtu lidí, myslím, že ve třech se vejdeme cca. do 1,3 kg.
Sami si spočítejte, kolik toho budete tahat, pokud pojedete ve třech s celtou do ne úplně ideálních podmínek a budete brát žďáráky. Komfort ve srovnání s celtou – pokud fouká a prší – je nesrovnatelný.
Pokud vezmete stan, budete mít svoji vysněnou podlážku a všechen luxus. Ale pravděpodobně se trochu pronesete. A upřímně – je tenhle typ luxusu a stability opravdu potřeba v průměrných podmínkách?
Některé stany od MSR a hlavně Big Agnes se hmotností horko těžko blíží na úroveň Khafry. Tedy, když by byly použity bez vnitřního stanu. Zde ale myslím pokulhává jejich odolnost vůči větru, protože se většinou jedná o stany s jedním rozvětveným prutem.
Další zajímavá věc je, že lidem přijde neuvěřitelně složité rozebrat trekové hole a vložit mezi ně konektor. Už jim ale nepřijde složité vytvářet levitující přístřešek z celty uvázaný v lese na osmi lanech. Stejně tak u geodetu postavení vnitřního stanu, vyndání prutů a složení prutů, uchycení háčky a přehození tropika…to vše je přeci neuvěřitelně snadné a mnohonásobně rychlejší…
Pojal jsem tenhle odstavec trochu ironicky. Sám ale nemám proti celtám ani stanům vůbec nic. Ona pyramida má spoustu nevýhod, mimo zmíněných svažitých stěn je to třebas velký půdorys, kdy musíte najít o něco větší místo pro stavbu. To mně osobně ale nevadí a ukázalo se, že to až tak velký problém není.
Pyramida je hlavně univerzál do široké škály podmínek. Nic nezkazíte, když v ní budete v létě při bouřce v nížině, ale ochrání vás i v nižších horách, když se zblázní počasí. Umí od každého něco a nic pořádně. Není to romantika starých trampů ani extrém moderních komfortně-bytelných stanů.
Jedna věc je praktická stránka použití a druhá věc je i atmosféra a náklonnost k tomu co člověk používá. Vaše celta by se vám měla líbit. Váš stan byste měli mít rádi.
Já mám rád svoji pyramidu.
Cena
Je to drahý. Co jinýho byste asi tak čekali. A je to kurva drahý. Cenu vidíte na stránkách Locus Gear v japonských jenech a po přepočtu na koruny to dělá bratru nějakých 9 000. Čistě za tarp. Jelikož jsem objednával ještě kolíky a konektor na spojení trekových holí dostal jsem se rázem přes 11 000 Kč.
Komu to připadá hodně nechť zvedne ruku. OK. Tak ji zase všichni můžete dát dolů. Je to kurva dost podruhý. Ale pokud se podíváte na podobné tarpy či stany dalších výrobců z podobných materiálů, zjistíte, že si nijak nepomůžete a budete na tom plus mínus stejně o pár stovek.
No, a pokud byste snad plánovali tarp z DCF, připravte si víc jak dvojnásobek.
Konkurenti
Konkurence Locus Gear je především v USA. Jednotlivé firmy mají podobnou cenovou politiku a i jejich výrobky jsou podobné. Bavíme se tedy konkrétně o pyramidových tarpech.
Před koupí jsem zvažoval hlavně alternativu v podobě Mountain Laurel Designs, ale odradila mě určitá „namachrovanost“. V zásadě si ale myslím, že se jedná jen o můj osobní dojem. Jinak jsou jejich pyramidové tarpy velice podobné Locus Gear.
Další volbou mohl být Hyperlite Mountain Gear, avšak ti dělají věci pouze z DCF a neseděla mi velikost tarpu.
No a poslední možností, kterou jsem zvažoval, jsou Oware. Dobrá nabídka jednoduše řešených tarpů. Jejich pyramidy na rozdíl od konkurence jsou o něco jednoduší, nemají tolik vypínacích bodů ani odvětrání u vrcholu pyramidy, a jsou také o něco levnější.
Nakonec jsem se ale přiklonil k Locus Gear. Jedna z věcí, která rozhodla je i skutečnost, že svoje výrobky dělá na zakázku. Tedy – nedostanete tarp, který se 5 let válel ve skladu, ale uděláte objednávku a firma vám vyrobí zbrusu nový stan. Proto je též doba doručení od objednávky 5 – 6 týdnů.
Jinak si myslím, že všechny firmy, které jsem uvedl, vykazují konstantní kvalitu a případnou koupí neuděláte chybu u žádné z nich. Rozdíly jsou hlavně v určitých detailech, jemných rozdílech v gramáži používaných materiálů, krycí légy u zipů apod. Pyramidy, které jsem ale viděl na videu, nebo na fotkách v recenzích, byly vesměs podobné a domnívám se, že ve výsledku je volba takřka jedno. Za ty strašný prachy dostanete pokaždé výrobek podobně vysoké kvality.

– potřebuje větší místo na postavení
– svažující stěny ubírají reálný prostor uvnitř
– hodně vysoký
– bez používání trekových holí už jeho váha není tak výhodná
Dodatek k dopravě z Japonska: člověk vs. česká celnice
Úvodem očekávaná pochvala Japoncům za vstřícnou emailovou komunikaci. Vyzdvihnout bych chtěl hlavně skutečnost, že se mi nesnažili nacpat to nejdražší, ale to co opravdu potřebuju. Platba přes Pay Pal proběhla bez problémů a ihned jsem obdržel zprávu, že začínají pracovat na mé objednávce. Tarp byl hotový za necelých pět týdnů a jeho cesta do Prahy trvala 2 dny. Praha 5 Košíře. Cesta dopisu o doručení zásilky a jejího umístění na celním úřadě trvala z Prahy 5 Košíře na Prahu 5 Barrandov něco přes týden. Ale to nejlepší mělo teprve přijít.
Před objednávkou z Japonska jsem si našel na netu, že Evropská unie má s Japonskem už pár měsíců bezcelní styk. Super, říkám si, to nebude jako balík z USA.
Locus Gear mi nabídli, že mi sníží cenu zásilky k celnímu odbavení, aby mě tady celníci neoškubali jak slepici. Této nabídky jsem chtěl původně využít, a dostal jsem v dopise i účet s jinou částkou (cca. 160 EUR) než jsem platil přes Pay Pal, ale nakonec jsem vzal originální účtenku s originální cenou a směle vyrazil na celnici. Nebudu přece podvádět, budeme fér. Někdo musí ten balík vyzvednout na letišti, odnýst do auta, odřídit do Košíř. Někdo ho musí vyndat, poslat mi dopis a pak mi balík předat. Takže si těch pár stovek systém zaslouží.
Budova celnice stále vypadá, že musí každou chvíli spadnout. Celníky jsem si představoval jako nabušený mladý kluky co vládnou plynule pěti jazyky, k dispozici mají nejmodernější počítače, a bleskově si prověří jakoukoliv informaci z druhý strany světa, nic jim neujde.
Realita byla lehce odlišná. V chaosu mezi místnostmi příjmu, odbavení a celní správy jsem se nakonec od jednoho pupkatého strejdy, domohl instrukcí a se všemi dokumenty přišel k přepážce. Milá paní ve středním věku netušila která bije. Počítač, který pamatuje devadesátý léta, jí pomoct nedokázal. U sebe měla kopii účtu od Locus Gear se sníženou cenou, ale já to frajersky odmáv a vytasil se s originálem Pay Pal. 1,5 kg vážící zásilka z Japonska za jedenáct litrů? Když má na sobě štítek z rentgenu s nápisem „outdoorové vybavení“? Zmatení dostoupilo vrcholu a musela si zavolat další dva lidi na poradu. Počítač z devadesátek stále ponuře chrčel…
Nakonec se jim podařilo na papíře cosi spočítat a s úměvem mi podává papír s konečnou cenou. 4 200 Kč. 2400 Kč DPH a 1800 Kč clo. Frajerský výraz mě náhle opustil a asi je to na mě vidět neb paní se na mě soucitně usměje a povídá něco o tom, jak se při částce přes určitou výši platí clo i z Japonska. Už neposlouchám a jako ve snu jdu k pokladně. „Hotovostí nebo kartou?“ ptá se mladá slečna. No kartou. Mám u sebe jenom tři litry, kdo by si taky kvůli stanu bral na celnici víc. Jedno pípnutí na terminálu a ani to nebolelo.
Přemísťuji se k výdeji kde se motá jakýsi Francouz, a neví kam má jít se svým dopisem. Nikdo mu to není schopný vysvětlit, protože většina celníků ovládá z cizích jazyků pouze dvě slova: „Thank you“. Ty jim ostatně po zaplacení vždy stačí… Vytahuju tedy svojí praso-angličtinu a odesílám ho na příslušnou přepážku. Sám zaplatím ještě kilečko poště. Až pak mi je vydán můj obří jeden a půl kilový balík, jedno „Thank you“ a můžu vypadnout na ulici.
Jsem si jistý, že člověk, co zásilku vyzvedával na letišti, nedostane z těch čtyř litrů ani halíř, ten kdo jí vezl taky ne, no a ani ty relativně v pohodě ženský z toho na prémiích neuviděj ani jeden japonskej jen. Zato systém, ten se nakrmil. Takhle vypadá loupež za bílého dne.
A poučení z toho? Žádný není. Snad poučení pro stát, který se musí pořád strašně divit, proč ty lidi nechtěj nic přiznat a věčně podváděj. Já bych rád dal třeba pět stovek. Za ten malej balíček lehčí než láhev vody. Ale příště si myslím dám cenu, že dostanete tak kilo maximálně. Díky.

Sorgen Sie durch tägliches Besprühen der Nadeln für ausreichende Luftfeuchtigkeit.
Gewöhnen Sie den Baum nach den Festtagen wieder behutsam an die kalten Temperaturen im
Freiland. Auspflanzen dürfen Sie ihn, sobald kein Nachtfrost mehr droht.

Die Cala Agulla liegt an der Nordostküste Mallorcas im Gemeindegebiet von Capdepera.
